Pinehurst Resort & Country Club is a premier golf facility that boasts nine (9) 18-hole championship courses located in Pinehurst, North Carolina. The courses are Numbered No.1 - No.9.

Pinhurst No.3 first opened for play in 1910. The course was designed by Donald Ross.

Pinhurst No.3 plays to 5,682 yards. Distance is not a factor on No. 3, direction is. The topography is a bit more rolling than its predecessors are, but it still carries typical Ross characteristics, such as tricky greens and straightforward layout. As of December - 2003, the 5th green has been redesigned to streamline its look and fit in better with the course design. A great course for those who normally carry the ball less than 200 yards and who love the science behind a perfect nine-iron shot.
